Are you feeling stressed? If you answered “Yes,” you’re not alone. Whether it’s budget issues, family stress, or personal issues, most people need some “me” time. Part of taking care of yourself, is making sure you’re physically content as well as mentally content. One of the ways to relax is with a personal relaxation device. According to the the press literature I received from Screaming O, today, the global sex toy industry is worth 15 billion dollars. One can assume that there is a lot of “pleasure” happening in the world, despite it’s problems. Frankly, I think that’s a good thing! Less fantastic is the news that 70% of sex toys are made in China. However, there Chinese-made goods, the news is less fantastic—70% of sex toys are manufactured in China. If that’s a problem there are made in the USA items such as the Intensity by Jopen that the Advice Sisters recently reviewed. But there’s no denying that the Screaming O items are affordable, and seriously clever and fun.
I received the beauty bag featured in the photo at the top of this review. At first glance it really does just look like a nicely edited makeup collection in a bag. My favorite piece is the Screaming O Lipstick Vibe. This piece is about the size of a chunky lipstick or blush tube. When you pull off the top off the black tube with red accents, you see a lipstick red “lipstick” bullet that looks so real you might be tempted to apply it as makeup. But the red bullet is soft, silicone tip made of phthalate-free soft silicone that flexes for what Screaming O calls “focused vibrations.” You can figure out very quickly what it’s really made for.
Other items include a :mascara vibe” that really looks exactly like an ordinary mascara case, but pull off the top and find a black mascara wand with soft rubber “bristles” that tingle just a bit and magnify the vibrations. The Powder brush is the only
one without a top cover, with “bristles” made of soft, flexible rubber as well. All three vibrators in this collection operate the same way, with lively speeds: 1) Low Steady-On ; 2) Medium Steady-On ; 3) High Steady-On and; 4) a “tease mode” with multi-pulses to add interest. The units are waterproof and easy to clean, and offer 80+ minutes of activity with one (AG-13) button battery. You get three extras with your vibrators so you’ll be fixed for fun for a long time. All three vibrators are small, but deliver real benefits, for $35.00 each. There’s also a “compact” with a bullet vibrator inside, for $25.00.
To go with the cosmetics vibrators, you can purchase a clear and black plastic zippered ”makeup bag” that you can use to store your “stuff.” You can also purchase a battery storage compact that looks just like a a round powder shadow compact from a major makeup brand. Inside are two 6-packs of Studio Collection AG-13 button batteries that fit all of the Screaming O vibes, to keep your motor(s) running. Another round compact looks like a dead ringer for a red lip gloss pot, but inside this one holds O Warming Balm, a warming sexual stimulant with cinnamon to offer scent and sensations. Apply this clear “lip gloss” to your actual lips and kiss or apply anywhere else you’d like to feel a warming sensation. If you like cinnamon, you’ll love this. It’s sexy, safe and fun. For just the opposite, effect there’s a compact with a blue top that looks just like an eye shadow but it holds something else for your eyes, only: a sensual cooling & tingling sexual stimulant with peppermint. Both this product and the warming balm are $15.00 each, and contain all natural “kissable” ingredients featuring an herbal extract blend in a paraben-free, petrolatum-free, phthalate-free and non-toxic formula. You can use both balms separately or together, for unique sensations. The collection also offers a Sensual Crème for Amplified Orgasms $10.00 that looks like a squeeze tube of lip gloss. Apply a pearl sized drop and gently rub in for approximately 3 minutes to add even more intensity to your “workouts.” The “gloss” is a non-toxic glycerin-free latex compatible climax crème made from natural extracts and containing the amino acid L-arginine, to increase blood flow and boost sensual pleasure. The Screaming O Studio Collection can make you feel good as no other “cosmetics” can. Why take personal pleasure so seriously? These are just plain fun. If you want more “toys,” Screaming O has a lot of other sex toys and accessories. Note-able are the super-powered battery-driven vibrating rings in bright, clear plastic colors that look more like attractive, hard candy costume rings (for him and for her). There are rings for fingers (but not to wear to the office) and even a ring for the tongue (which I didn’t try, but I am told it fits any size tongue–really?!)! Screaming O also has “capsules” and elixirs for enhanced desire and stamina.
The brainchild of Justin Ross and Keith Caggiano, Screaming O was created to appeal to mainstream singles and couples, not just weirdos and porn stars. Even if these aren’t things you would use every every day (or maybe some of you, will), the thing that’s nice about these is that they’re not cheap and sleazy, and they’re safe. No wonder Screaming O was the recipient t of the 2007 and 2008 Women’s Health Magazine “top sex product of the year award.”
