There’s only one runway show I’d sit on the floor and wait to see for nearly 3 hours, and that’s The Blonds. David and Philippe Blond always put on a show to remember, full of beads, spangles, and creative ideas that at first seem over the top until you realize you really can wear one of their statement pieces and feel sexy and unique in it. This season’s show had a biker theme, but the corsets, studded boots, and Roman Gladiator biker helmets (complete with long ponytails) were hardly the stuff of “Grease.” Wonder which lucky bikers will be wearing the custom “Blonds” helmets with signature “B” on the side?
