Spring Fashion 2103: Blonds Psycho Beach Party @MBFW Blonds Guests Party, Too

There’s always visual excitement at The Blonds.  After a long week of pretty little teenagers prancing down the predictable runway in party dresses, audiences at The Blonds know that they are going to see something unique, excitingm unexpected …and fun!

While many of the drag queens, celebrities, and otherwise aspirational dressers come to be seen and photographed, it’s all in the spirit of The Blonds, who take fashion to another level entirely, and know that their fans eagerly await what they’re going to see on the runway, and around it before and after the actual show.  Here’s what my camera captured, for The Blonds Spring 2013 Fashion Show.

This season’s crop of guests didn’t disappoint. There was Michael Musto dressed as a giant pea (or was it a green dinasaur?), Amanda Lepore wearing her signature huge red lips, and a lot of “plastic,” a man dressed androgenously in nothing much more than ribbon strip.

Arriving early and complaining of the weight of her Blonds Bustier and over-the-top headgear, was a woman wearing a signature Blonds bustier, heavily decorated with chains, and an equally heavy head-dress of feathers and a bleached animal skull.

Club promoter Bartsch’s signature BLONDS helemet(from last season’s show) with long blond tail looked chic.  And and there were the usual assortment of drag queens, glamouratti, and even Paris Hilton who wore a Blonds bustier.
