Polish & Co Puts Fashion at Your Fingertips

If there’s something new, I want to try it!  My interest is aroused even more, when I hear the words: “fashion” and “polish” together.  Then,  I naturally think of Creative Nail Design, a leader in Fashion Week nail looks, or perhaps, M.a.c. Cosmetics, who just launched a limited edition collection of Press-on nail sets with Ruffian.  But North Carolina also is claiming a place in the fashion arena, with Polish & Co.

Polish & Co. is mixing fashion trends, and new nail colors. The pretty, pastel Summer collection ($12.00 per bottle) gives you that dreamy, romantic,  Southern feeling.  Not sure what the Fall will bring, but these polishes are perfectly lovely for now.

Theresa Williamson, Polish & Co founder, and a nail expert for more than 23 years, has taken classic colors and made them “one better,” with intense, easy to apply formulas that dry fast, and look universally flattering on most every skin tone.  The inspiration for the collection you see in the photos is, apparently, “weeping willow lined streets that you only get from the Carolina living lifestyle.”  Who wouldn’t covet new colors such as: Lemon Meringue Yellow or Neon Sky Blue?  The colors really apply beautifully and last a long time, although the two I tried personally:  “Any Place, Any Time” (a glorious purple) and “Dreamsicle” (a very trendy but creamy, orange), didn’t have the type of high-wattage shine I expected (one coat of clear added what I wanted to the look).  It’s easy to like the chic, square, clear bottles with brushes silver tops (the flat bottles let you stack more on a shelf than a round bottle), and they’re “3 Free” (no Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP or Parabens).

If you happen to be near one of 10 salons selling Polish & Co. in the United States and the Bahamas, you’re “set.”  For the rest of us, there is online shopping at www.polishandco.com
