There seems to be a big push this Fall and Winter to go back to the glam and glitz of the disco era. One way to get that look without going overboard, is to glitz up your nails, and NARS has created four, quintessential “Night Series” shades for nails, for the first time. Each shade combines intense glitter with intense color. The result are nails that follow the Fall/Winter blackened and intense color trends, with all the glitz you’ll want.

Night Breed – black with silver glitter *shiny, inky black with a profusion of silvery glitter that makes last year’s black trend, new and glamorous.
Night Rider – soft plum with silver glitter *looks uber-glittery, but one or two coats adds a ladylike, soft, medium mauve, with surprisingly subdued results to wear day or evening.
Night Porter – black with green pearls *this blackened, deep forest green won’t intimidate at the office, with more sheen than glitter, but the nearly black-green is one of the trendiest statements you can make this season. A must have.
Night Flight – black with cobalt blue pearls *a simply lovely, deep, deep blue the color of the night sky, with just a hint to silvery stars, looks sophisticated day or evening

NARS Night Series Eye Shadow Palette: Nars has also just launched a brand new Night Series Eye Shadow Palette ($55.00) featuring six sexy, glittery eye shadows, nestled into a new, signature ‘Night Series” palette. I didn’t personally check these out, but you can see from the names of the colors that they coordinate with the nail colors. Based on my experience with NARS makeup in the past, it is safe to say that these will be sensational. Wear the wet or dry, alone or layered.
