Fragrance Reivew - All You've Ever Wanted Demi Moore

When All You’ve Ever Wanted, a new fragrance by Helena Rubenstein (inspired by Demi Moore), was released, I knew I had to try it. Demi Moore is the ultimate "Cougar," with a hunky, much younger husband and an actress who never gives up. She works for her beautiful body, and her fame.

The scent, created by Carlos Benjamin and Dominique Ropion, starts out bright and citrus-y, announcing itself very clearly. But soon after the fruity introduction, you get that hint of flowers and, finally, a sensual, creamy drydown. It isn’t boring or gauche. I have to say this in my review, because I never thought of the "early" Demi Moore as the epitome of elegance and class. But she has grown up. And, I admit it: This scent grabs me. There’s power in it, but a softness, too. Only after about 15 minutes did I finally smell the ladylike Magnolia, and even that doesn’t push itself, aggressively. Maybe that’s why Demi Moore is the muse for this scent. She isn’t all that young, but she looks amazing. She knows what she wants and goes after it, but she’s also very "girly." And then there's her seductiveness, too....enough to snag the much younger, Ashton Kutcher, as her mate.

Yes, Demi is ambitious, but she's hardly all "claws." In fact, I get a sense she is grateful for all the good things she has in her life -- and she has earned them.

The bottle, created by Herve va der Straten: is a tactile oval, with an elongated clear, lucite bar over the spray diffuser, wrapped to the bottle with a wide, golden "ring."

The scent is available at Macys : $45 for a 6.6 oz. body lotion, and $60 for a 1.7 oz. eau de parfum and $80 for a 3.4 oz. bottle.

The scent will not just appeal to young women, but also to more mature ladies who have worked their way up to where they want to be.
