Creative Nail Designs Hot Trends for Spring and Summer 2009

Perfectly polished nails finish your look, or can change it, instantly. Nothing is as easy!

For Spring/Summer there are lots of options. Go subtle and demure with light polish, or keep the dark trend from the cooler months, and still look chic.

The top nail trends for Spring/Summer 2009, according to Creative Nail Design are:

Whitewashes: creamy and iridescent white shades
Gold Shades: from burnished to metallic, to bright
Gothic Tones: blackened red, berry, blue, purple, etc.
Kind of Blue: navy to deep sky *these are more user-friendly than you'd think...just pick one that goes with your skin tone and your outfit'
Reds: always classic no matter what the intensity or shade

You can't go wrong with any of Creative Nail Design's high performance, high quality, high fashion nail polishes. Creative Nail Design is the nail polish used on fashion show runways, everywhere. The company coats the nails of models in more than 60 runways per season both in the United States, and in Europe. Pretty Impressive! They're really great people, too. *to see my runway coverage of Fall 2009 fashion week including backstage and runway video, and some interviews with Creative Nail Design pros, visit The Advice Sisters FEATURES Page and the Advice Sisters Blog

Here are some choices from Creative Nail Design to consider:

Iced Cappuccino and Cocoa are also classic shades perfect for Summer, and true runway favorites. The smaller photo on the left is Iced Cappuccino (the actual bottle is full sized) but it's really more a shimmery copper than the pink shown in the photo. Cocoa is slighter darker and more nude than pink....sorry about the colors! Both of these are workable nudes that go with virtually everything you own and flatter every skin tone. Designers (and The Advice Sisters) love them!

French Pink (small bottle on the left--the actual bottle is full sized) and Nail Noir give you a wash of sheer color that's perfect for Summer if you want to look natural, but still put together. Neither have shimmer, so you can also use them for a chic, French manicure.

Red is always right on nail. You can't help but love a classic red like Creative Nail Design's "Wildfire" The clear, bright, beautiful red is the perfect compliment to a little black dress or a garden party frock.

If you want to be truly fashion forward, get Fedora. This classic CND color is a creamy chocolate that always looks elegant on fingers and toes. No wonder it's been a favorite of designers on numerous Fashion Week runways. Nail Noir is a deeper, "blackened" version that looks trendy but not crazy. Decadance is a rich, creamy berry that oozes ladylike sensuality. It looks particularly good with high, strappy sandals.
