Avon Clinical Derma-Full X3 Facial Filling Serum - A Miracle? Part II (the follow-up)

Back in mid-April I wrote a blog post about Avon's new Clinical Derma-Full X3 Facial Filling Serum. If it works, it's really a miracle. I promised to commit to using it for a few weeks (something I almost never do given the sheer amount of products I have to try) and report back to my readers on it. Here's my follow-up report:

In case you didn't read my April Post (here's the entire review and a video describing the product) let me summarize: Avon has recently introduced Clinical Derma-Full X3 Facial Filling Serum $54.00 1 fl. oz. This is a topical skin treatment that contains the same, injectable grade hylauronic acid facial filler as you might find in the dermatologists office. Best of all, this lightweight serum is used only once a day at night, and at home. No appointments and no needles, necessary! As Avon describes it, this is a super concentrated serum with three times the level of injectable-grade hyaluronic acid for dramatic filling & plumping. Avon says in just 3 days , Clinical Derma-Full X3 Facial Filling Serum will begin to reduce the look of deep folds and just two weeks, 82% of the women they tested saw more youthful fullness in the cheek area (not sure what that means, but I'm guessing hollows were lighter). In four weeks, the product is supposed to dramatically reduce the look of deep facial folds and hollowness.

So now I've used the product for about three weeks. I missed a few night applications, but not many. After a few days I didn't see much difference, but by the end of a week, those lines that drag down from my nose to my mouth did seem a bit lighter. I asked a few people who know me well and they confirmed that the lines were lessened...a little bit. But I hoped for more results. And, results are what I got. After about three weeks those lines look like they have been softened by an eraser...they are still there, but they are much lighter. Last week I attended a dinner party and the hostess was so impressed with the way I looked, she ordered her bottle the very same night!

So I'm willing, based on my personal experience, to say that the product is worth your consideration. You won't get rid of every last deep wrinkle, now will your skin face look like it did when you were a teenager (if you're not one). A topical serum won't give you the same result as a deeply invasive procedure. However, Hyaluronic Acid (naturally produced by your skin, but production decreases with age) provides moisture and fullness from within, and you will see some results.

I always caution my readers that we are unique beings, and what works for one person might not work exactly the same way for someone else. But for me, the product seems to have some promise. The product is pricier than most Avon skincare treatments, but it is a whole lot cheaper than injections, and if your skin isn't very deeply lined, this product can make a difference!
